About Sewell

Founded in 1943, Sewell of Leeds Ltd., is a private, family owned and managed Company of auto-electrical and fuel injection engineers and motor factors. We operate from modern and well equipped premises (22,000 sq ft of stores, workshops and offices) on a prestigious 1.75 acre site close to the centre of Leeds.

Our size and independence ensures a personal service and a willingness to fulfill our customers’ needs, something not always found at the branches of today's larger organisations.

In addition to carrying out installation, repair and service work in connection with the electrical and injection systems on any private, commercial and industrial vehicles, we also overhaul for stock such equipment as alternators, starters, diesel pumps and injectors, bringing the items back to the "as new" standard.

• The Company is a D.O.T. approved Tachograph and Road Speed Limiter Test Centre.
• We are distributors for Lucas, Bosch, Delphi (Lucas CAV), Hella, VDO, Prestolite Waeco, Webasto, Denso etc., and carry a comprehensive range of stock - some 85,000 items.
• We also supply parts for and install or service Air Conditioning, Alarm and Security, Audible Reversing Camera Systems and vehicle night heater installations.
• Our Quality Management System is registered and audited by BSI to ISO 9001:2008 Standard and in addition we are members of the Retail Motor Industry Federation (RMIF).
